Dearest Treasures,
Hope you’re doing well and thriving.
This week’s post is about trust and how we manage when our trust is broken.
When someone breaks my trust, the thought that upsets me the most is the narrative of how naive I have been to allow such a situation happen to me. It brings me face to face with my vulnerability and innocence which was taken undue advantage of. However I also think about how I would learn to manage if I did not experience such situations and circumstances.
My experience dealing with this topic has been
> to remind myself of the inner strength that I possess.
> to work hard in grounding myself with the facts that have preceded the events to stop the narrative of assumptions invading my way of being.
> to strive hard to be extremely kind to myself.
> to stop judging myself and thank the Universe for giving me the benefit of the experience to learn and grow as a result.
> to acknowledge consciously the set of values that are a gift to me and be grateful to have been given the courage to face things bravely with honesty and sincerity.
> to practice living in congruence to my values.
How do you manage a betrayal of trust? Please feel free to share your go-to practices in the comments below.
