EASTER 2024

Dearest Beings of Light.

Hope you’re having a good Easter weekend. As I have been reflecting on the message of Easter for myself, it comes to light and my conscious awareness that life is a continuous struggle. The prophets and great masters who have walked the earth before us did not have it easy and comfortable. I have been contemplating upon the lives of Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Gautama Buddha, the ten Sikh Gurus, and Jesus of Nazareth. They lived a life of acceptance, humility and wisdom without questioning what  life was giving them. The prophet Jesus’s last words as we know were “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” Life demonstrates the infinite possibilities that manifest once a being embodies the divine qualities of greatness, forgiveness, courage and bravery. Let us reflect on how we live our lives. I remind myself to receive the strength to live each day as an opportunity to create a new way of being and a powerful destiny with a spirit of courage, gratitude, love, humility, kindness and care. I strive to remind myself that my struggle is so tiny compared to what the great masters went through.

GLITTER LIKE DIAMONDS

We love shiny, colorful, beautiful objects that glitter and shine. If I were to tell you that your being could become a glittering shining way of being, you might not believe how. This post is based on the story that I put out earlier this week. It is not a way of being in the distant future. I share some of my insights of how I aspire to stay connected to the Universal Consciousness at all times very humbly.

Focus your way of thinking, values, beliefs, actions, behavior patterns to tune in to the Higher Frequencies of love, kindness, compassion, courage, humility whilst observing your mind patterns with rigor and discipline.

This heightened state of awareness brings me closer to my weaknesses which I then begin to acknowledge and work through slowly and steadily with patience, grit and kindness to self. I begin to recognize the emotions that trigger me and I begin to honor myself  with respect and dignity. I set clear effective boundaries respecting the other as well as myself.

The Wisdom becomes my guiding star and I remain seated in the peace and beauty of the poems that I contemplate on a daily basis. I aspire to live each moment from the contemplations making them  practical nuggets in my encounters, environment and experiences.

THE DUALISTIC NATURE OF EGO

Thank you very much for your lovely messages this past week regarding the Shivratri 2024 weekly post.

We often consider the ego to be our biggest obstacle and block in our journeys. However, the ego too has been created for our benefit and learning. A healthy ego is necessary for our well being and peace. It helps give us dignity, respect and set healthy boundaries.

The ego turns toxic and unhealthy when one starts to desire control and power. This is when the ego starts its hysteria and madness. This brings a lot of suffering.
This is the point when wisdom guides us to dissolve the ego and its desires. The arising of a new way of being is initiated, which can be more sustainable for one’s journey forward.

The harsh experiences that one faces become the catalyst to a new or expanded way of thinking or feeling in our ways of being. This is the transformation from the caterpillar to a butterfly. SHIVRATRI 2024

As I have been reflecting on the message of this Shivratri, I can connect it to my journey over the last year.
The Holy Trinity represents Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Sustainer and Shiva the Destroyer. For me they seem to make sense for my journey in reverse order.  The being that I am in mind body and emotions has been destroyed to give rise to something new and beautiful. It’s been a period of healing and discovery. Brahma is creating organically and allowing space for new beginnings that shall allow for sustainability, the Energy of Lord Vishnu. It seems that this Shivratri has been a turning point in my journey.
How do you connect to the Holy Trinity? What must be destroyed within you to create something new?

Saturday Soul to Soul

The above caption has been pervading my way of being over the last few days. We absolutely must learn to tailor our well-being based on our own unique needs and circumstances. A “one size fits all“ approach does not work. When life gives lemons, let us learn to make a tangy lemonade and enjoy it wholeheartedly.  

A short and sweet message to begin the weekend. Let us learn to sing and dance within our hearts with whatever we can every single moment with lightness and wholeheartedness. 🙏  Love and Light,  Prerna

THE SHADOW OF ACCEPTANCE: 

The value of acceptance is instilled very strongly in my belief system and upbringing.

However, the question that often overcomes me is the shadow aspect of acceptance. This often takes a seeker into negative spaces building resentment, resignation, complacency, and an attitude of giving up all action. They tend to blame their past karmic actions and seek solace within that understanding.

My understanding is that life is unfolding in a way that it is meant to. There is always a  learning that happens in every situation and possibilities that one can explore and discover.

A conscious seeker looks for the lessons to learn, grow, transform and let go of attachments to the outcome.

A short summary of my learnings when life gives me a “not so nice experience”: 
– Take 10000 steps back from the situation. Distance and detachment are key.
– Stop treating anything as a personal failure.
– Learn from what life is giving me.
– Stop attaching and clinging to the outcome. The desired outcome shall happen at the most appropriate time if this is what the Universe believes I must receive.
– Enjoy the process even further
– Be extremely kind to myself
– Bring further rigor into my daily way of being.
– Wellbeing is the most valued treasure. I live a life of joy and peace. An unpleasant situation shall not take this away from me.

I believe this is how I create my destiny going forward. I’d be curious to hear your thoughts.

FROM CONFUSION TO CLARITY

I noticed a tension between acceptance and resentment showing up. I got curious about the experience. I went deep into my cave to explore and understand what was going on. These were my findings which I share with tremendous humility. Please take what resonates best with you.

I noticed a stressful issue and questioned the person that was going through the suffering and resentment. I recognized that it was the idea of self that was resenting the experience. The ego in its subtlest form was attacking fiercely. I observed the impermanence of life unraveling.

I understood the concept of Divine Intervention unfolding. I noticed that life is a continuous flow of events in a continuum. My reactions are also happening in this flow and continuum. I expressed vulnerability around persons within my safety circle. I sought support and guidance like never before. I gave myself a tremendous amount of kindness, compassion and rejected everything that did not support me. I took care of myself in the most amazing manner, something that I rarely do. I went into robot mode of breaking down my day into bite size portions that I was consciously choosing.
I surrendered to this feeling, experience and continuum.
And then the magic happened…..

I recognized that I have influence over the present moment. I felt the joy, bliss, gratitude, recognition of the gift of the present moment together with its frustration, stress, anxiety and feeling low.
The stress of the situation is still looming over my mind. I choose to stay present while taking all steps within my control of influence. I feel carefree, and truly am living every moment from the idea of a Power that is bigger than me. I am focusing on every inhale and exhale like never before.

It seems like a huge cloud of darkness has lifted its veil from above me. I share as my intention to live a life of constant service.

HOLIDAY POST

Dearest Fellow Travelers on the journey of Life

This is my last post of 2023. I send you my best wishes and a heartfelt dose of gratitude for your continuous source of support in my journey. I draw inspiration from many of you and learn each moment of the way. Gratitude from the bottom of my heart.

We have been trying to see the Northern Lights in Iceland over these past few days with no success. Nature runs on its own agenda. I noticed disappointment in the eyes of my loved ones. I was gently reminded of the gift of acceptance. Once we master this, we can face any situation we are faced with. Let us understand what we can control and predict. May we receive the wisdom and gift of discernment to humbly surrender to the flow of life when we find things deviating from our expectations and desires. This has been my lesson of learning in 2023.
