I am fascinated by how life has helped me unravel yet another layer of dignity over the last few months. It has helped me introspect and has allowed me to give myself so much love, care and respect from a deeply honest and humble space. I am indeed grateful and indebted to life’s best teachers who are placed in my path at the right time.
I can relate to these lines by Baba Fareed, the Sufi mystic, from an authentic space. “fareedhaa jo tai maaran mukeeaa(n) tin(h)aa na maare ghu(n)m; Fareed, do not turn around and strike those who strike you with their fists. aapanaRai ghar jaieeaai pair tin(h)aa dhe chu(n)m; Kiss their feet, and return to your own home.“
